How It Works

Watch Gang is a great idea for anyone who’s passionate about collecting quality watches and timepieces. Each box contains a new watch, and the watches you’ll receive depend on the subscription tier you sign up for. You can choose from Original Tier, Black Tier, Platinum Tier, and Centum Tier. The higher the tier, the better the watches and the more value you’re getting out of your subscription.

To sign up, go to the company’s website and select Get Started. You can choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, or if you prefer to make an account with your email, you can do that.

Then, tell them a little about what kind of watches you like. You can choose a few specific examples to help them get an idea of what you’re looking for. Once you’re all done with that, fill in your shipping and billing information and wait for your first watch to arrive!

What Makes Watch Gang Unique?

This watch subscription service really wants to give you a special watch that will last. The brands they send you are up to 5 times what you pay, even at the lowest tier. They pay attention to what you like. Once you take the initial quiz detailing your preferences, you’ll receive watches that line up with them.

This subscription box sends you a mystery watch every month. They send brands that you may not have heard of or used before so there’s always a chance you’ll find something new that you love.

They also send you exclusive deals and sales. You’ll even be entered into a weekly drawing to win a Rolex or TAG Heuer watch. They don’t send Rolex or TAG Heuer out in the subscription boxes, so those are special items if you’re lucky enough to get one!

Pros:

  • High-quality watches at great value
  • Weekly watch drawings
  • Exclusive deals, sales, and promotions
  • Fast shipping
  • Lots of opportunities to discover new watches
  • Referral and points system

Cons:

  • Can’t choose watches
  • Can’t return or be refunded for watches you don’t like
  • No band size guarantee

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions and answers about Watch Gang:

How Can I Cancel My Subscription?

The fastest way to cancel is to call the company at (888) 973-0183. They’re available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm PST.

If you want to cancel before your watch ships in a given month, you have to call before the 10th. Otherwise, they’ll still send you your watch for that month and your cancellation request won’t take effect until the next month.

How Can I Contact Customer Service?

You can reach customer service by phone or email. Their phone number is (888) 973-0183. To email them, go to the Contact Us page on their website and fill out the contact form. They’ll reply to you by email within a couple of days.

When Does It Ship Every Month?

New watches ship on the 16th of every month. If you’re waiting for your first order, that one will ship to you within 3 days. After you receive that first shipment, you’ll start receiving them around the middle of the month.

Can I Choose Which Watches I Want To Receive?

No. The idea of this subscription service is to keep each watch a mystery until it reaches your door. If you choose every one, that takes the fun out of the whole process. Plus, part of the perks to this subscription is not having to shop around for your own watches.

If you don’t like a watch you receive, you can always sell it. The company doesn’t accept returns or issue refunds, but their Watch Gang Exchange Facebook group has a ton of people who are looking to buy and sell watches received through this service.

Do They Have A Referral System?

They do! For every person you refer, you and that person get 50 points to redeem on their website. The only catch is that the person has to spend $25 or more with the company in order for you both to get the reward.

You can use these points on their Wheel of Watches or convert them to credit you can use on subscription renewals or a subscription change. You just can’t transfer or exchange them for cash back.

Company History

Watch Gang was founded on September 19, 2016 by Matthew Gallagher.

Watches have always been important to Matthew, from childhood up until he inherited his late father’s Rolex. He’s passionate about the value of a watch beyond its monetary worth, and he believes watches can say a lot about a person.

Matthew considered creating his own watches, but saw more value in allowing other people access to the same watches he loved. He has created partnerships with watchmakers and made more people aware of their brands.
