PINCHme is an interesting box service that provides subscribers with free samples in exchange for their opinions. Each month on Sample Day, new samples are released, and members can apply to receive these free samples as they release. Sometimes, additional sample opportunities are available throughout the month. Members can select samples and request a new box once every week, and boxes typically take 2-4 weeks to be delivered once they are shipped.
As we mentioned above, PINCHme is a bit different from other box services. It doesn’t cost anything to join, and instead of receiving a package of items that are chosen for you by the box service, you’ll receive a selection of free samples from different companies.
The samples are free, and so is shipping. So, PINCHme is an entirely free service, monetarily speaking. In exchange for the free samples, they ask for your participation in consumer surveys about the products you receive. After you receive and try your sample, you’ll spend a few minutes providing your feedback about the product you just tried.
What’s included in each box can vary widely from person to person. When you create an account on their site, you’ll need to answer a series of questions about yourself, your household and your lifestyle. Based on your answers to these questions, they will select the samples you’re most likely to be interested in and offer them to you. Then, you can apply to receive the samples you’re most interested in. Once your samples are ready, they’re boxed up and sent to your home.
For the most part, you’ll find samples of home goods, food products, pet products and personal care items available to try. New samples are added to the site on Sample Day each month. However, you’ll also find surprise new samples added to the site throughout the month as well.

Not surprisingly, the reviews seem to be overwhelmingly positive. Since their service is entirely free to use and requires little more than a few minutes of the subscriber’s time to answer questions about the free products they receive, there’s really no way to have an overwhelmingly negative experience with this company.
Some users have complained about the amount of time it takes to receive their boxes. Others are unhappy because they’re ineligible to receive certain samples they may have been interested in. There are also several reviews that suggest the service isn’t worth your time because they only provide small sample sizes of the items that are available, instead of full size, retail versions of the product.
But, for the most part, people are thrilled to receive some free products in exchange for a few minutes of their time. Some reviewers were surprised with how reliable their deliveries were since they weren’t expecting very much from a free service. Some subscribers say that they used to receive more samples in their boxes in the past than they do now. However, since the samples are all free, no one seems to mind too much. When it comes to shipping, this service moves at a snail’s pace. But, at least it’s free! Once you’ve placed an order for samples, it will be processed and shipped to you. Once your order is shipped out, you’ll need to wait between two and four weeks to receive your delivery.
You can track the status of your order once it ships. So, it may take a while for you to receive your box, but at least you’ll know where it is.
Currently, this service is limited to the continental United States. You won’t be able to take advantage of this program in Alaska, Hawaii or internationally. The company also operated a version of their service in Australia, but it was sold in 2015 to AussieCommerce and is currently restructuring, according to their website.

When it comes to this service, there’s no such thing as canceling, per se. Since the service is free, and they never ask for your credit card information, there’s nothing to cancel. If you aren’t interested in receiving any more boxes, just stop requesting samples.
The company does send their customers promotional emails to alert them about new samples that are available. If you’d like to opt out of these emails, just click the ‘unsubscribe’ link located at the bottom of any of their messages.
