PawPack is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each delivery contains premium toys, chews, bones, and treats that cater to dogs that are power chewers. Subscribers can expect to save up to fifty percent off retail costs. Boxes ship around the 15th of each month, but first orders ship within two to five business days depending on when you order.
For puppies or older dogs who are avid chewers, this subscription offers durable toys plus tasty treats that are customized to your dog’s size and preferences. Each monthly box will contain items sourced from boutique, independent, and small businesses. All treats are all-natural and contain limited ingredients that are healthy for pets.
While not every toy will be resistant to power chewers, the company does take care to select extra durable items that aren’t as heavy-duty as all-nylon. This way, dogs enjoy a variety of toys, though most packs won’t include plush or stuffing-filled items.
To subscribe, you’ll click on either “SUBSCRIBE” or “GIVE A GIFT.” You’ll be prompted to complete your pet’s profile so that their pack is customized to their needs. Then, you’ll choose a single shipment or a long-term subscription plan.
Finally, you’ll enter billing and shipping information before confirming your order. You can also check the box denoting “This is a Gift” at any point during the signup process.
PawPack is a mid-level subscription pack for dogs who are heavier chewers but don’t necessarily need indestructible toys. That said, the company does maintain a guarantee on their toys, so you can contact them if you have any issues with an item in your subscription box.
Unlike other pet subscription boxes, the ones from this company are also interchangeable. They not only have pet boxes, but also ones for moms, ones with sweets, some for fishers, and more. You can also pause your subscription if you would rather take a break over switching it out for another option.
Each subscription box contains the same items regardless of your pet’s size. There is only one pricing tier for this specific type of box, though the company does offer other options.
PawPack is part of TheGiftBox family of subscription services. As such, it is difficult to tell which reviews for the parent company are specific to this dog subscription.
One third-party user generated review site seems to hold the subscription service in good regard with a 4.40 rating out of 5. There are a total of 316 reviews for the monthly subscription on this site, so it's safe to say this is a good reflection of what you can expect as a customer.
Any negative reviews we found were mostly about how difficult it is to actually use the website. However, most customers seem to be very happy with their monthly deliveries and the items they receive.

Regular subscription packs ship around the 15th of each month. However, initial boxes ship out earlier than that, but still depend on when exactly you sign up. If you place an order between the 15th and 25th, your order will ship within two to five business days.
If you sign up after the 25th, however, your pack won’t ship until the 15th of the next month.
You can pause a subscription anytime by logging in to your account dashboard or emailing customer service. You can also substitute another subscription in any pack’s place whether you’re a regular subscriber or a gift recipient with the company.
To cancel, log in to your account dashboard. Click on “Subscriptions” on the left-hand side. Click on the subscription you want to cancel, select a reason for canceling, and click “Confirm.”
While the company does not offer specific product counts for what’s in their boxes, they do note that subscribers will receive a combination of toys, treats, and chews for dogs. There is no cat option, and most of the products will be better suited to dogs that are heavier chewers, rather than those who prefer soft toys.
PawPack is part of a larger brand, The Gift Box, umbrella. The company was founded by John Ratzenberger in collaboration with David Polinsky and Miriam Gitelman. John is the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, Miriam is the Chief Executive Officer, and David is its Chairman.
There’s not much information online about the company, but John publicly announced the brand at the time of inception. Ten percent of the company’s profits go to charity, which is apparently a priority for the company and has been from the start.
As John explained in interviews, the website aims to be a one-stop-shop for gift shoppers who need to cater to a variety of gift recipients. Therefore, The Gift Box has purchased other smaller brands and incorporated them into its lineup.
