How It Works

With a testing team that includes tour guides, adventurers, park rangers, and even professional athletes, this subscription box offers top-rated outdoor gear. Each subscriber will receive gear, tools, food items with each delivery. In addition to gear, each box will include inspiration for activities and information about health, safety, camping hacks, and more.

For example, past boxes contained outdoor survival items such as hydration bladders, Clif bars, hammocks, paracord, utensils, utility knives, multi-use tools, and more. Every package contains an outdoor challenge using the new gear. Participants can win up to $100 in free equipment for completing each challenge. Past challenges required photographic proof of subscribers using their new gear, and prizes ranged from waterproof speakers to surprise products worth over $90.

Signing up with this subscription box is simple. Click to “sign up” for the plan you want, fill in your profile, and wait for your box to ship! Part of the signup process also involves answering survey questions that help customize your subscription. While most boxes contain the same items, the company also changes things up based on your interests and favorite activities.

What Makes Nomadik Unique?

Nomadik sets itself apart from other outdoor subscription boxes with its unique challenges. Using the gear you receive via your subscription, you can embark on an outdoor adventure that can win you more products. Additionally, a point awards system lets subscribers earn additional products and gear.

Not only does the subscription box include the equipment you need for your adventures, but it also outlines health and safety tips, camping hacks, and other helpful information whether you’re hiking a trail, climbing a boulder, or exploring waterways.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are common questions people ask about this company.

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

The company allows you to cancel your outdoor box subscription anytime. Log in via the homepage or customer login page. After logging in, scroll down on the left side and find “Subscription.” Click on “EDIT” and then click “CANCEL.” Note, however, that your cancellation may not go into effect if you make the cancel request after the renewal date, which is the 4th of the month at midnight.

Can International Customers Subscribe?

Yes, although shipments outside the United States can take anywhere from six to 14 days to arrive. International shipments are not eligible for free shipping, however, regardless of the length of your subscription.

Can I Return An Item?

You can return an entire box for a full refund if the box and its contents are in their original condition. To return a box, contact the company within seven days of receiving your shipment. Note that the subscriber is responsible for return shipping.

The company also maintains the Ironclad 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee, which involves replacing a product that you either do not like or already own. In this case, the company will send you a product list that contains items of equal value. Make your choice, and the company will ship it for free. You also do not have to return anything to them.

How Can I Contact Customer Service?

You can reach the company via their web contact form or through email at info@thenomadik.com.

When Do Orders Ship Each Month?

Order processing occurs around the 14th of each month, with boxes shipping out between the 24th and 26th. If you make an order before the 14th, it will ship between the 24th and 26th. If you make an order after the 14th, you’ll have to wait until the next month’s batch ships to receive your order.

Company History

California native Patrick Hines founded Nomadik in 2016. First, however, he earned a degree in Digital Business Marketing from the University of San Diego, won an award for surfing, and learned Spanish.

Before starting his own innovative company, Patrick worked as a brand manager, marketing director, and interned in market research, social media marketing, and digital marketing roles. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Patrick wanted to branch out on his own, becoming a consultant the year before debuting his own company.

With strengths in growth hacking, brand development, e-commerce, and more, Patrick was no stranger to developing products and personas to suit consumer demand. Even now, his company remains small, with under ten employees, while continuing to deliver inspired outdoor products and information. The company’s goal, as Patrick explains it, is to inspire people to get outside, appreciate nature, and understand how crucial environmental conservation is.
