Let’s take a closer look at our Mystery Tackle Box May 2019 Review in more detail.

Mustad Big Eye Bucktail Jig

Mustad Big Eye Bucktail Jig

If you’re a saltwater angler, you can be sure that this jig will attract the attention you need to catch something big. The sturdy hooks give you the confidence you need to know that your fish won’t give you the slip.

Some of our favorite features of this jig include:

  • Oversized 3D Eyes
  • Crystal Flash
  • Epoxy Finish
  • Real Hand-Tied Deer Hair

We love that this jig makes it easy for us to stay at our favorite saltwater spot all day.

Harmony Razor Series EWG Hooks

Harmony Razor Series EWG Hooks

Chemically sharpened hooks assure you that your chances of landing a catch are more consistent than using average hooks. The style of this hook features a rounder bend and a wider gap, which is why they are EWG, which stands for “extra wide gap.”

They are also great for rigging any soft plastic baits.

If you enjoy using a versatile hook, you can expect to catch the following fish:

  • Largemouth Bass
  • Pike
  • Musky
  • Striper/Rockfish
  • All Gamefish

We are excited to be able to include these hooks in our Mystery Tackle Box May 2019 review because they are incredibly versatile.

Penetration “F” Hook - 5” Fluke Hooks

Penetration F Hook

Whether you deep-water fish or surface fish, these hooks are great to use in either situation. If you’re a fan of plastic jerk baits, we recommend inserting the oversized eye inside the bait. This technique helps it keep the bait in place.

These hooks are a great addition by Mystery Tackle Box.

Strike Pro Gill Raker

Strike Pro Tournament Grade Gill Raker Sinking Lure

Strike Pro has always led the way when it comes to luring design, and it was no surprise this was in this months subscription box.

This lure perfectly imitates many types of small bait that both saltwater and freshwater fish prey on.

Our favorite features this lure includes are:

  • Lifelike Eyes
  • Red Gill Plates
  • Rubber Fin
  • Rubber Tail
  • Multi-Jointed
  • Superb Action

We consider ourselves lucky to be able to share this product in our Mystery Tackle Box May 2019 review!

BioSpawn EXOSWIM Swimbait

BioSpawn EXOSWIM Swimbait

When we saw a 6-pack of swimbait included in this subscription box, we became very excited.

We recommend the following ways to use this swimbait:

  • Spinnerbait
  • Swim Jigs
  • Keel Weighted Hooks
  • Weightless

This swimbait has a perfect action at any speed and has a great combination of tail motion and body roll that can trick any gamefish into biting. The “ExoSkeleton” profile displaces more water than your average swimbait.

Our Mystery Tackle Box May 2019 Review

Overall this was an excellent delivery of fishing products that will come in handy when we are out on the water.

We would have loved to get a few more products, but we’ll have to wait for next month’s shipment.
