Little Passports is a company that provides monthly educational subscription packs for kids ages 3-9+. Each delivery contains a collection of activity books, stickers, trading cards, and access to information online in the areas of geography, science, and world cultures. Members can expect to save around 25% on traditional workbooks and other educational materials and programs. All boxes are shipped within 3-4 days of receipt and will arrive at the customer’s doorstep within 4-8 business days.

How It Works

Getting started with Little Passwords is very straightforward. First, you create an account by clicking on “my account” at the top right of the homepage. You will then select the “create account” red button and fill out the form, which takes less than a minute.

You can then select the drop-down options to shop by either age or product. You then choose the package that best fits your child’s age and or needs. The website will give you the option to select the regular box for that option, or the premium, which includes an activity book hand-selected to complement each monthly theme. Finally, you will be able to choose the duration of your subscription: monthly, every six months, or every 12 months.

Once you input or verify your payment information, you wait for your educational subscription box to arrive!

What Makes Little Passports Unique?

Little Passports is a excellent solution for parents who want their kids to learn in a hands-on way. Children earn a head start on learning about the world around them in a variety of different capacities. Parents can expect their little ones to broaden their knowledge about a variety of topics. Children learn world geographic locations and cultures, perform science experiments, and write to their fictional pen pals.

Mostly, kids are getting a monthly surprise and always look forward to new stickers, workbooks, and educational topics. Many parents compare the sense of excitement to Christmas morning every month! These kits are also perfect for keeping children occupied on long car rides or moments when parents need to relax and unwind at home.

What Could Be Better

  • Some difficulty levels and age group designations do not match the knowledge of smarter kids
  • The value of the items in the box is subject because some parents may not perceive the objects to be worth the cost (some parents think the complete opposite)
  • Little passports will not be the only resource parents use for geographic education, and the subscription might represent an added expense

The auto-renewal is somewhat tricky and might loop you into another term without you knowing

Little Passports Reviews

Little Passports is rated a 4.3 out of 5 on Influenster. This score is the average from 563 total reviews. Based on what customers are saying, it helps their kids learn other areas of the world before the average kid. It also allows the kids to stay busy while the parents are doing household chores or relaxing. Parents also love the variety of different topics and learning areas within the package options.

There are a few drawbacks that people are discussing throughout the reviews. One is that the autorenewal loops into another term if you don’t stay on top of your signup date. Another complaint is that the difficulty level is not suitable for the specific child, so make sure to look at what each package has to offer.

Company History

Little Passports was developed by two best friends who shared a vision to inspire children to learn about the world. In 2009, Amy Norman and Stella Ma launched the company and still operate it today. Amy holds a bachelors degree in English from Mount Holyoke College and a masters degree in International Studies from Penn. Stella has a bachelors degree in East Asia studies from Harvard.

Both founders got exposed to different cultures growing up. Amy moved between the US and England, and Stella grew up in a Chinese-American household. Now, as parents, they want to instill that in their children. As the leaders of Little Passports, Amy and Stella continue to build a community of parents, grandparent, and educators who want to pass on the cultural learning experience too.
