Doodle Crate is a monthly subscription for creative kids and teens. Each month, kids receive the supplies and instructions they need to make something great with their own hands. This box saves parents money over trying to purchase all the supplies on their own. The first crate ships within three business days of purchase and once per month until the subscription ends.
This company offers four subscriptions options from which you can choose:
Billed for 3 months
Billed for 6 months
The prices above include shipping to the United States. Canadian subscribers must pay an additional $6.95 per box for shipping.
Do you have a kid or teenager who loves to get crafty? Does he or she enjoy creating new things and learning new techniques? If so, this is the box for your child. This crate comes filled with new materials, instructions, and inspiration each month.
One month, your kid may build and decorate a clock. The next month, the crate may teach your child to paint. It’s always something fun and creative.
Each crate comes with all the materials your child needs to create something amazing. Whether it’s glue, paint, canvas, wood, or anything in between, the box has what kids need to complete the project. Furthermore, all the materials are high in quality, so your child’s creation can be built to last.
You won’t find boring instruction manuals here. These guides have pictures and step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow. Better yet, subscribers can access the online video tutorials, which can guide your child through the project.
It’s no fun to create something and then get stuck on how to make it beautiful. Inspiration can come from anywhere. However, if your child’s muse goes missing, he or she can check out the inspiration sheet in each crate. Get the creativity flowing and make something beautiful.
Make your child feel unique with this crate’s customization options. The mail will come addressed to your child, so they can feel like they are in charge.
Furthermore, you can sign up now and delay your first box, if you want. This option is great for parents who want to go ahead and get started, but whose child’s birthday is in a month or two.
If you want to give the gift of creativity without auto-renewal, you can choose from this company’s four gift options.
These options include shipping to the United States. However, Canadian shipping may cost extra. Gift options do not automatically renew, so no cancellation is necessary. You pay for the entire package up front.
If you have more than one child that would enjoy this box, you can add subscriptions to your account. During checkout, click “save and add another to this address.” This ensures that each child can create his or her own project.
We scoured the internet to find honest reviews on trustworthy sites. However, we did not see any such discussions. Don’t worry; we won’t give up. Check back here soon for updates.
When you place your first order, your first box will ship within two days, unless you chose to delay it in the customization process. If you decided to delay the shipment, it would go out the same date range in the next month. For example, if you place your order on October 15th and select November as the first month, your package will ship between November 15th and 17th.
Once your subscription begins, you will receive a new box every month around the same time of your renewal date. If you need expedited shipping, you can select that in the checkout. These packages will ship the next day.
Shipping can take between five and eight business days once the package has left the company’s warehouse. Subscribers in Hawaii and Alaska may experience longer wait times.

If you wish to cancel your Doodle Crate subscription, you must do so before 11:59 pm Pacific Time on the day before your auto-renewal. For three, six and twelve-month plans, the subscription won’t stop until the term is up. When you’re ready to cancel, follow these steps:
Sandra is a mother of three and the founder of KiwiCo. She started the company, which was initially called Kiwi Crate, to help children explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, or STEAM.
She understood that kids have a natural curiosity and that their toys should foster that feeling. However, parents often don’t have the time to research projects, get the materials, and instruct the kids.
So, Sandra hired some developmental experts and what would become KiwiCo was born. Now, the company has won tops awards from organizations like Purdue University, Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, and Dr. Toy. The company has also been featured in publications like The Wall Street Journal, Parents Magazine, and on the Today Show.
