How It Works

This tactical subscription box contains only state-of-the-art equipment that has been hand-selected by former US Special Operations soldiers. In consultation with their network of Spec Ops personnel, Crate Club selects only the best sourced, tested, and officer-approved military and tactical survival gear to help you withstand the elements.

Every box a lot of the finest tactical gear, including gloves, hats, flashlights, firearm accessories, holsters, t-shirts, lightweight camping gear, knives, utility belts, and more. Monthly themes organize the items according to a real-world survival scenario. However, shipment contents vary depending on the subscription tier you select.

There are four distinct subscription tiers, which scale in price and item quality; Standard, Pro, Operator, and Premium. Without spoiling too much about the contents of the boxes, you should note that the quality of the included items ascends quickly with each tier.

To sign up for this tactical subscription box, you will need to choose the box variety you want:

  • Standard
  • Pro
  • Operator
  • check
    Premium

Subscribers will need to select a subscription term out of the three available.  They are:

  • Monthly
  • 6-Month
  • 12-Month

The longer the subscription term, the more you save on every order.

Once you’ve settled on the subscription you want, you can move on by selecting the “Proceed to Checkout” option. At this point, you will be directed to create an account and provide your billing and shipping information. The company only accepts credit card payments. However, they support both Google Play and the Apple App Store to allow you to manage your subscription directly from a smartphone app.

After your order is confirmed, you will receive an email containing your receipt. Notifications are sent once your first package has shipped from the company’s distribution center. Your box should arrive at your doorstep within five business days of your receiving this message.

Crate Club Reviews

Over the years, Crate Club has generated a loyal following thanks to their dedication to excellence, preference for American-made gear, and roots in the US Armed Forces. However, reviews online indicate that there is a healthy mix of negative and positive public opinion about the company.

With over 200,000 ‘Likes’ on their official Facebook page, you might assume that this subscription box company is universally adored. However, numerous customer testimonials and anecdotes indicate otherwise. For example, many of their social media followers have used the platform to express their displeasure with the company’s shipping times or product quality.

It is also worth noting that SOFREP Clubs, the company that owns the box brand, is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). While this is not a major red flag on its own, it doesn’t help that the only two company reviews on their BBB profile are overwhelmingly negative, citing delayed shipping times and their auto-renewal policy.

Nonetheless, this tactical subscription box still commands respect and loyalty of many. Other reviews online praise the company’s dedication to providing exclusive items not seen in stores, the diversity of box themes, and their unwavering support for the US Armed Forces.
