Bespoke Post is a subscription box that specializes in fun, sharp, modern gifts for men like knives, brewing accessories, and camping supplies. They offer several different box options to suit customers’ needs, and you can change between boxes at any time. Not counting shipping fees, customers should save about $25-$30 over what they would pay for the items separately. Boxes ship anytime between the 6th and 15th of each month.
To sign up to receive the monthly box subscription, first click “Get Started” on the website. From there, you’ll answer a ten-question quiz to help narrow down your interests. After submitting the quiz, you’ll be prompted to set up an account, along with your shipping and billing information. Once you get all that set up, you’re ready to go!
This men’s subscription box stands out from the others because of its unique categories. If you’re not interested in certain categories of men’s gifts, like camping gear, you will have the opportunity to say so in your style quiz in addition to avoiding those particular boxes.
Additionally, the company’s website lets you see what’s coming in your box before it ships each month, so you can choose another box or skip it altogether if you don’t like what’s inside. The likelihood of getting something that you don’t like is very low.
The box can also be shipped to military addresses, a unique feature among subscription boxes. It’s a great bonus that many of the items in the company’s boxes are suited to military men, such as knives, hatchets, and the like.
Pricing is straightforward since there’s only one subscription option. Boxes are always $45 per month for subscription holders, while non-subscribers will pay $55 for a single box.
It’s worth noting that Bespoke Post’s website and Facebook page can be unclear about shipping costs for their boxes. They frequently advertise that “shipping is always free” for their boxes, but this is not the case – shipping is only free if your purchase comes out to more than $75.
For the standard monthly box, which costs $45, shipping is $3.95 to the continental US and slightly more for Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii. However, you are permitted to add on another box to your order or add on items from the shop if desired, which can bring your purchase price to over $75.
Plans renew each month automatically, but you can cancel anytime or skip a month when necessary.
Each box is full of thoughtful gifts based both on your interests and the box category. At the time of this writing, there are thirteen different boxes listed on their website for this month, ranging from gardening supplies to camping goods to shave supplies.
The company offers a frequently-changing assortment of boxes for men. Here are a few examples of boxes featured this month:
Alternatively, if you don’t want to sign up for the subscription service, you can just buy one box from the shop for $55 ($10 more than what members pay). You’ll still save $15-$20 over what you would pay to buy the products separately.
Bespoke Post reviews seem to be extremely high overall, as they have no less than 4.5 stars on any review site we found.
On HighYa, they come out with a perfect five stars. Customers say that service is terrific all-around – even better than their excellent products! One customer even stated that they were so impressed with how a service rep handled their subscription cancellation request that they ended up keeping their subscription.
According to the reviews available on HighYa and the company’s Facebook page, the company spares no expense in making sure the customer experience is as good as possible, and this extends to providing help navigating the site, assistance with orders, and the like.
We like to look through any low Bespoke Post reviews, too, just to see what they’re about. Most complaints that we found had to do with quality questions on items. A minimal amount of Bespoke Post reviewers left one star and said that they were able to find similar items elsewhere for much cheaper. Customers also complain that the company’s shop prices for other high-quality items tend to be very expensive.
The company doesn’t have a large presence on the BBB website, where there was only one review and six complaints. The complaints primarily related to trouble cancelling subscriptions and long phone wait times. However, the company has attempted to resolve all issues shown on the site.
